About the book: She just wanted to shake up her love life. Jacklyn (Jack) Wyatt is the typical twenty-five-year-old living the typical Provo single life with the typical bad luck— at least until the FBI recruits her for a completely different type of dating.

A young woman has gone missing, and all signs point to her online dating profile as the kidnapper’s operating ground. But when suspects who crossed paths with the missing girl begin contacting Jack, the FBI sees its opportunity for an inside man—er, woman.

Now Jack will have to play the field, dating each of the men in an attempt to weed out the kidnapper. But with such an unusual array of characters vying for her attention, pinpointing the culprit may prove even harder than finding Mr. Right. And as more young women disappear, will Jack stay professional and objective, even with the handsome Special Agent Damon Wade just a whisper in her hidden microphone away?

My review: I loved this book! I loved the main character Jacklyn, better known as Jack. She’s been single long enough to have a pretty good system down for all of the wedding receptions she’s gone to. I love the way she talks and thinks about them. And I had to laugh when one of her snarky comments at a table full of single young women made a girl cry. Oops!

This book takes a different twist than you normally see in these young single adult romances. One day while at work, Jack is “abducted” by some men in suits. They take her to an FBI office where she meets none other than a young man who has been following her for the last couple of days. Jack is asked to date a bunch of young men who have contacted her on a social media dating site because there is another young woman who is missing and the two of them had many of the same guys contact them on this site. Jack knows this is probably going to be a dangerous job, but hey, it beats restocking clothes at Forever 21!

I love Jack’s courage in this book. I love the way that even though she’s not sure she wants to take the job, she does it to keep other young women safe and hopefully find the missing young woman before it’s too late. And later in the book, she puts herself in danger several times when she thinks she’s found a good lead.

I also liked Damon. I liked that he was a gentleman and was always looking out for Jack. I loved the way his character went from indifferent to her and almost mean to caring and loving towards her.

I loved the plot of this one. Jack goes from pretty much one bad date to another and near the end one dangerous situation to another. The plot kept my interest and I wanted to know just what would happen for her.

This is a great book filled with suspense, funny situations and a touch of romance too! I didn’t want to put it down.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
