About the Hart to Heart

Hart to HeartLove is her profession—but the one who blames her for his broken engagement just might change her view on love.

Sydney Hart is good at love. That’s what her popular MyHeartChannel says anyway. She’s always trending as she gives out relationship advice and date ideas each week as she focuses on helping others find love and romance. She has little time to help in her parents’ restaurant—the best BBQ place in South Carolina, that with a little help could be a successful franchise.

Mark Atwater is the best business consultant in all of South Carolina, or at least he was until his breakup knocks the wind out of his sails. He blames the MyHeartChannel star, Sydney, for giving his now ex-fiancée bad advice.

When he relocates to Charleston to help a new client, sparks fly when he runs into Sydney. He can’t back out of the job—this is his chance to prove to his business partner that he’s serious—and seriously over his ex-fiancée interfering with his job.

Sydney has dreamed of franchising, but she won’t be able to convince them without outside help, and Mark is the best. Both of them will have to figure out a way to work together if they want to achieve their dreams.

Too bad working together means sharing an office. When Mark decides to help Sydney with her MyHeartChannel he gets more than he bargained for, and Sydney is in over her head, wishing she could give herself objective love advice when her heart is on the line.

My review of Hart to Heart

I have been loving these MyHeartChannel romances! I love that they are all about amazing women who are making a place for themselves in the world. These women are strong and courageous. They really know how to put themselves out there.

This one starts out with Mark. He’s engaged and happy. He thinks the rest of his life will be fabulous. But then his fiancee dumps him because of some advice some woman on the Internet gives her about her fiancee. Mark takes it upon himself to confront Sydney. This is where things get a bit more fun. I liked the way Mark was willing to let a stranger that he would never meet in real life or ever again know just how badly she had messed up his life.

Then there’s Sydney. She was completely blindsided by Mark showing up and telling her how she’d ruined his life. She had never told anyone to break their engagement. I liked that Sydney has strong goals. She wants to make her parent’s restaurant into a chain, but it’s currently not making money. That’s where Mark comes back into the picture as a marketing guru.

It was really fun to watch these two characters have to figure out how to work together. Mark was upset with Sydney. Sydney’s not sure what to think of Mark. But the two of them become friends. Mark even offers to help Sydney with her MyHeartChannel. I love the plot and the way things end up working just as they should. But maybe not the way that either Mark or Sydney had thought they would.

These MyHeartChannel romances are so much fun! They’re perfect for a summer day at the pool or beach!

I borrowed this book from the Kindle Unlimited Library.
