About Roxy’s Song

Roxy's Song

The night Tag Turner claimed he loved Roxy Adams and begged her to follow him to Nashville to live his dream, she sent him packing since she knew it couldn’t be real. Even if he did insist he’d been singing his love to her for years.

Eight years later, Tag, now a famous country star, rolls back into small town Little River hoping for one more shot at winning his high school crush. But Roxy loves her quiet, country life on her family’s ranch—a life that doesn’t have room for someone who can’t buy coffee without national media attention.

Not ready to give up, Tag stays in Little River to work on his next album and convince the woman he loves to give him a chance. Will Roxy ever trust his feelings are real and not just lyrics in a song?

My review

I love it when I find an author and I know I’m going to love all of their books. Ranee S Clark is one of those authors. I’ve loved each and every one of her books. She just has a way of writing that draws the reader into the story.

Let’s start with Roxy. She’s a small town girl. I really had to laugh at the lengths Roxy went to to avoid anything to do with Tag, even changing the radio station when one of his songs came on. So funny! She’s got a boyfriend, Nash, who happens to win tickets to Tag’s concert in their town. That was even funnier, because how can Roxy say no to going with him. She couldn’t and that’s where the craziness starts.

I loved the concert scene. Tag coming down and singing straight to Roxy was my very favorite. You just need to read it.

Tag…he’s a great character. I loved the way he wasn’t going to give up on Roxy, even though he probably should have. These two characters just seem to have some sizzle throughout the book. I kept hoping that somehow it would happen. This is one of those books that I couldn’t tell from the beginning how it would turn out.

I loved the small town feel of this one. It almost felt like I stepped into the town of Little River and joined the characters there. It was awesome!

I loved everything about this one. The characters are fantastic! The plot and setting are just great. It’s an amazing book that you won’t want to put down!

I was sent an e-copy of Roxy’s Song as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.
