About One Singing Bachelorette

One Singing Bachelorette

One country music singer desperate to make it big.
Twenty contestants vying for the affection of one bachelor.
No one actually falls in love on a TV reality show … do they?

It’s not easy being a cousin to the illustrious Romeos and having to walk in their shadows. However, Lexi Romeo is holding her own. She’s determined to make it as a singer and songwriter. A chance to become one of the hopeful bachelorettes on a TV reality series might just be her ticket to fame. However, one look into Asher O’Brien’s piercing blue eyes, and her world is rocked …

My review

This type of book is my favorite! I love to read about a great romance with great characters. This one is a contemporary romance, those are my very favorites. I thought the author did a great job with this book! I hadn’t read any of the other in the series, and I was fine. You don’t need to read them in order.

I really liked Lexi in this one. The whole book is told from her perspective. I’m going to be really honest and say if I had any criticism of this book, it would be that I wanted to see things from Asher’s perspective at least a little. What was going through his head during the competition. Especially when Lexi fell on him. That might have been my very favorite scene.

I loved how Lexi and Asher met. Before the reality show they were on together. That whole thing is kind of the thing that changes the plot and what happens to Lexi during the show. But it’s just so great!

I loved that Asher is a good guy. His family meant a lot to him. The reader could tell that right away. Lexi’s family means a lot to her too. But in some ways, she wants to get away a little bit. I think she’s tired of being compared to her famous cousin, who wouldn’t be?! The way she is true to herself in the whole book is great. That’s a piece a lot of us in this world are missing.

I need to read the rest of these books right away!

I was sent an e-copy of One Singing Bachelorette as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.
