About How to Kiss Your Best Friend
Brody Hawthorne is not in love with his childhood best friend. If he says it out loud often enough, maybe he’ll start to believe it. There’s no chance things will ever work out with Kate, anyway. Most of the time, they aren’t even in the same country.
Is it possible to love someone through their Instagram feed alone? Definitely. Is it fun? Absolutely not.
Kate Fletcher has spent the last decade as a globetrotting travel writer. Roots? Who needs them! When Kate left Silver Creek the first time, she swore she’d never move back home. And yet, here she is.
The only bright side? Her best friend Brody still lives in town, teaching chemistry at the local high school.
Brody and Kate fall right back into their easy friendship, except this time . . . something is different. Did they always touch this much? Were their hugs always so . . . lingering?
The more time they spend together, the more obvious it becomes: more-than-friendship feelings are definitely happening.
But Kate’s never going to stay in Silver Creek permanently, and Brody’s never going to leave. Is it worth risking their friendship when so much could go wrong?
The answer seems easy . . . until they kiss. And suddenly, all bets are off.
How to Kiss Your Best Friend is a full-length sweet romantic comedy, with all the crackling chemistry you want in a closed-door romance and sizzling kisses only.
I’ve been looking forward to this book by Jenny Proctor for a while now. Getting to see Olivia’s brothers get their own stories was so exciting! (If you haven’t read Love Off-Limits, go do it now!) And this one did not disappoint. I loved everything about it!
Brody is such a great guy. I love everything he does for the kids he teaches at school. The reader doesn’t quite get the whole scope of what he does for the school until a bit later in the book. Brody is the kind of guy you can count on.
I liked Kate too. Kate needed to learn some things. She saw her childhood one way, when it was not quite what she thought. I loved that she was willing to figure things out and try harder to put things the way they should be than she had been willing to do before.
This book guys…it made me laugh so hard. I loved the easy relationship that Kate and Brody have. And that it only gets made stronger by the awkward and funny things that happen between them.
You must read this one! I can’t wait to read the next brother’s story!
I was sent an e-copy of How to Kiss Your Best Friend as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.
